What’s Keeping You From Your Next Level?

What is TRULY keeping you STUCK from getting to that next level in your business? All too often people talk about how they can’t wait to get to the next level in their business. You talk about being ready to grow to that next level, but do you even know what the definition of that next level is for you? Let’s discuss what is keeping you from your next level.

 

Let’s start out with an example.

For me, the next level is being a guest speaker preferably in big groups or on stages. Getting on stage is big-time next level for me. So my next level would look like being fully booked, still serving my clients, offering a new program as well, and speaking. 

 

So- how can you figure out what next level is for you, and what is keeping you STUCK?

There are a few things you need to consider when you are defining what the next level looks like for you and what is keeping you stuck.  The main things you need to consider are clients, pricing and packaging, and time. All of these things will play a huge factor into being able to achieve your next level.

 

Clients.

There are a few things to consider when you are looking at this aspect of your business. Do you need more clients, or do you need different clients because you have outgrown some of your clients? The truth is you are inevitably going to outgrow some groups and clients. That’s perfectly okay.

I went through a really serious period of this in the transition from 2020 to 2021. Truthfully, I had some amazing clients, but they were never going to get me to the next level. It’s perfectly okay to outgrow some people. If you feel as though the clients, prospects, and audience you have are not going to get you to the next level, then you need to be aware of that and be willing to outgrow them. People are either going to rise up with you, or they’re going to stay where they’re at. If they stay where they’re where they’re at, that’s okay because it’s their business. 

Your business is your business. The only person that’s responsible for your next level is you. So if you feel as though there are clients or prospects that are keeping you back, then you need to be okay moving on without them. 

 

Pricing and packaging.

Obviously, as you grow, your offers are going to need to grow and expand, too. So examining your prices and packaging will be a crucial part of achieving your next level. Is it time to simply increase your prices? Do you need to create a new offer suite, or do you simply need to change the way you position your current offers? Is it time to make these adjustments so you can reach your next level?

 

Time.

Have you over committed yourself time wise? I see solopreneurs taking on work that they don’t really have the time to do. When you’re already busy all the time, there is absolutely no way at all for you to get to that next level because you’re already balls to the wall all day long. When you are in this state, there isn’t even time for you to plan what that next level looks like for you.

If this is you, you need to figure out a few things. Why are you so busy? Where are you losing your time? Are you utilizing your time in the most efficient way? Is it time to consider outsourcing certain tasks so that it frees up more time for you to work on other things? Are there certain services that you need to let go of? Can you bundle certain services together so that you can maximize your time?

All of these things are important to remember when you are examining if you are using your time in the best way possible. You have to be mindful of the time you are already committed to when you are reaching for your next level.  If you continue to over-commit yourself, you’re going to end up burnt out and that’s definitely going to keep you STUCK.

 

This is the most important thing.

You need to think about what that next level looks like for you. It’s easy to just say that you can’t wait to get to that next level. Well, what is the next level for you? You have to give yourself some actual definable goals and steps that you can take to reach that next level because just saying it isn’t going to get you where you want to go. 

So first, ask yourself what your next level looks like. Then, ask yourself what’s keeping you from getting there. Last, put a plan in place to get there. If you need help, please let me know.
