Less Talk, More Action: 3 Tips for Success in 2026

It’s the start of the year. Everyone’s flooding your feed with their success, 2026 goals, plans, and new shiny ideas.

And while there’s always a buzz in January, this year is different.

I’m excited for 2026, but I’m not here to shout it from the rooftops. I’m not posting my goals all over Instagram. I’m not announcing my revenue targets. And I’m definitely not plastering my 2026 bingo card all over social media.

Because truthfully?

This year is about doing it differently.

You Don’t Have to Build Out Loud to Grow Big

You’ve been scrolling and that comparison is kicking in.

You see everyone posting goal recaps, income wins, big visions. And it makes you second-guess what you’re doing, or what you’re not doing.

Let’s shut that down right now.

You don’t have to share every move to be seen as an expert. You don’t need to broadcast your goals to hit them. You can build quietly. You can keep things sacred. You can take action without announcing every step.

This is about being intentional with your goals.

Inside the Focused Visionary Accelerator, we created bingo cards for the year, and mine is sitting right next to me. It’s keeping me laser-focused on what I want. But I’m not sharing it publicly, because I don’t need to.

You are building in silence while protecting the energy behind your goals. And you’re reminding yourself: you’re not behind because you’re not posting about it.

What Are You Doing to Actually Receive Your Goals?

If you’ve got big goals, you better be doing the work to hold them.

And I’m not talking about planning. I’m talking about working on your capacity to receive. About addressing the subconscious patterns and somatic responses that block you from fully holding success.

In 2025, I went deep on this. In 2026, I’m investing in it heavily.

Because here’s what I know: I can raise my prices on paper. I can talk about them on the podcast. But if my body doesn’t feel safe to hold that energy, it won’t sell.

You’ve got to build safety. You’ve got to expand capacity. And you’ve got to be willing to receive.

Not just the money. But help. Support. Generosity. I used to deflect everything. Someone offers to help? “No, I’m good.” Someone tries to pay me back? “Don’t worry about it.”

That has to shift. And for me, it did. Now I say, “Thank you.” And I receive it.

If your body can’t handle more, no strategy will save you.

Stop Saying Yes to Every Damn Thing

Let me say it louder: You don’t need to sign up for everything.

I’ve seen it already. People saying yes to every group, every program, every community. And it’s only January.

Your calendar is not a catch-all. Protect it.

I made real changes this year. I added an hour between calls because most of mine run over. I capped the number of coffee chats I’ll take. I planned my movement time first, before business.

Because if you don’t build in space for life, you’re going to burn out.

And before you go saying yes to another community, ask yourself:

  • Are you already in groups you’re not fully using?
  • Are you tracking where your leads are coming from?
  • Do you actually have the time to show up and build relationships?

Spreading yourself thin won’t help you grow. Going deeper with what’s already working will.

How Do You Start the Year Differently (Without Burning Out by March)?

Here are three non-negotiables to carry into the new year:

  • You don’t have to share everything.
Your goals can be private. Let your results be the proof.
  • Work on your capacity to receive.
If you’re still saying “I’m fine” when people offer help, start saying “thank you” instead.
  • Protect your calendar.
Before you say yes to another opportunity, check if you actually have space, and if it’s aligned.

This is the year we take our lives back. We make space for our bodies, our hobbies, our actual lives without compromising our business goals.

It’s not about doing more. It’s about doing the right things.

So if you’re with me, let’s build. Quietly, boldly, and without the chaos.

And if you’re not already on the Sunday Morning Brew email list, go get on it. Every week you’ll get a CEO power move: one thing you can do that week to move the needle. It’s real, actionable, and exactly the kind of thing that’ll keep you out of reactive mode.

Let’s do this.
